I wanted to hop on here and personally thank Samantha for one of the most amazing experiences at a first time getting glasses for our 21 month old daughter Fiona. The entire process she was patient informative and helped us find the best first pair of glasses for our daughter. Today’s her first day with the pair home. Earlier we visited the shop to have them fitted and then took them home previously it took a prior visit about two weeks ago for her to order her prescription and pick the pair that best fit Fiona’s face. I had a great experience over there. My daughter started having problems in her eyes this week. It looked bad and I took her to the urgent care across the hall. I arrived too early and they were not open yet, so I decided to stop by and make an appointment.After explaining the problem the staff was extremely helpful and understanding.I have no idea how, but the doctor was able to see me on the same day, and now everything is fine with her.I am glad I stopped by to ask. Staff, doctor, nurse, and even the people at the shop were extremely kind

My twins see Dr. Varela. She is EXCELLENT with children. With ANY eye doctor appointment for child or adult, you should expect the appointment to take at least an hour for exam and waiting for dilation. This is the norm for an opthamologist. Thus, the reason they play movies and have offered snacks during wait times. That being said, I have never had an elongated wait time to be seen, just the normal hour for the exam appointment. However, if I did due to her seeing emergencies, I'd understand as I'd want the same attention paid to my children in an emergency. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we've been seeing this group since my former 28 week preemie twins...read full review
