We had a basement flood late at night and called PuroClean of Fairfield. Francis showed up quickly and got right to work on the water extraction and flood cleanup.
It was definitely a stressful situation, especially with a newborn at home, but once he was there everything felt a lot more under control. He was professional, efficient, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing.
Really grateful for the help and would absolutely recommend them for emergency water damage restoration and basement flooding issues.

At almost midnight we realized our basement was completely flooded and needed an emergency water extraction service fast. I called a few places and either no one answered or I got an answering service that wasn’t much help.
When I called PuroClean of Fairfield, Francis actually picked up and said he could come out after making sure I understood any minimum charges for the after hours call.
He got here quickly and stayed until 3am taking care of the flooded basement cleanup and water removal. One thing I really appreciated was the fact that he was super mindful of the noise. With all the equipment, I expected it to be loud, but somehow he didn’t wake our newborn or even the dog.
He also helped track down where the water was coming from so we weren’t just doing nonstop extraction, and gave me a couple plumber recommendations that actually answer their phones at 1am. That alone was huge.
He walked me through what I’d need for the insurance claim like photos, what to keep, what to document, etc which made things a lot less overwhelming. And he gave tips on what we could still save and how to dry things out.
Since then, he’s been really easy to work with for follow-ups and scheduling.
Flooded basement situations are stressful, especially as a homeowner, but he made the whole water damage restoration process a lot more manageable.
Definitely recommend PuroClean of Fairfield if you need emergency flood cleanup or basement water extraction.

Unexpected ice damn from excessive snowfall resulted in ceiling leak; causing concern for buckling and other potential complications. After a hurried google search we reached out to PuroClean. Francis responded immediately, and stopped by, all within the half hour or so. His positive energy, thorough knowledge of the issue at hand, connection to immediate fixes (reaching out another colleague to remove snow from roof) and his ability to communicate the insurance landscape were such a relief and comfort for this urgent situation. Then, going above and beyond, he continued to stay on it with his workers and ensure all needs were met, and more, until the job was successfully complete. Also has a great team handling the labor. Overall I’d recommend Francis and PuroClean regardless of level of urgency. Really wonderful experience.

We recently had the need for a company to assist us with a cleaning and organization of a family members residence. Francis was responsive, efficient and the attention to detail incredible. Highly recommended. Puro clean made a difficult situation disappear.

We had water come into our home from ice dams. Came out the same day to do an inspection. Very honest , very knowledgeable. Said our damage was minor and didn’t require an insurance claim like the prior company that came out. Will be our go to first call for remediation going forward. Do yourself a favor and do the same. Other companies are out to scam and scare sell their work.

We recently had a very rough skunk spray around our foundation and porch that seeped into our crawl space and throughout the house. Francis was absolutely excellent - he arrived within minutes of reaching out, patiently explained filtration and remediation options, and took the time to walk both me and my wife through the process over the next few days. Puro clean was the best. Our in law apartment got flooded due to a broken part in our hot water heater. Puro clean came out and they were extremely fast and efficient.. they even came with packing boxes the first day and were ready to start help packing up the apartment. They put all of our things into the pod they provided as well and wrapped furniture for us. Francis helped us everyday checking the moisture readings, was always on time and very communicative!! He was a pleasure to work with— they also cared for our needs as we were wanting to get things done as soon as it was possible , as everyone in the home was displaced due to the flood. Francis was able to meet our needs and give honest advice the whole week. Highly recommend!!
