First time at this Office. I can't say more about the care and services provided for my dog Noodle. You feel like your pet is the only patient. Communication is excellent, every text and email is answered promptly. The online site is easy to access. The office procedures are reasonable, and their pharmacy is cheaper than Ped Meds, by far. I will be recommending them to all my Pet Parents. Dr Coins is very thorough, and explains all issues and the staff is friendly and very accommodating.

Not communicative - deceitful - tries to fix it . - also tried to speak with June - front desk stated he was not there - however was very much so present .
Will be finding a new place - this place use to be good not sure what has changed .
I used my debit card for my first visit - as I didn’t have my card credit card - no one informed me I could provide my account number - I filed a complaint regarding something else and brought this up where I was told I could receive a refund then pay on my care credit card but would have to wait for the refund on my debit card. - I followed up to be now told I can’t receive a refund - stating the payment was already processed .
Fast forward I was then told today that if I would’ve called the next day my concern could’ve been rectified - I stated I did and spoke with someone where the receptionist then changed her response to “ it’s already processed the same day”
The payment was received my card - which every card payment service has the option to refund .
This place is very inconsistent . Even with pet care - my initial appointment I brought my cat in - I was not given any information and was treated as if my concerns or my pets health was not important. It was a HUGE lack of communication.

This vet exceeds all my expectations. They did great on my dogs surgery years ago, they are understanding about med refills due to my dogs unique situation, and the front desk is super nice. I drive 45 minutes to visit them because I love my dogs and want to give them the best care.

Everyone I met was really kind and patient and took their time to answer questions, make my pet comfortable and let me wait for test results which I appreciated because this probably delayed them from preparing the room for other patients/clients. I live in Hamden but drive out to this clinic because of how they treat me and my pets and I usually do not have to wait long for an appointment. I think I’ve seen a few different doctors and across the board they have all been very knowledgeable, reasonable with recommendations and patient with my dogs and cats. Thank you also to the vet techs and front desk as they are a compassionate team. Came in recently with feral Baby Nalga and her appointments went really smoothly considering. I do feel comfortable and trust the recommendations at this practice.
