“I don’t write many reviews anymore, but this shop earned one. I did a ton of research before choosing Darkside, and the deciding factor was that there isn’t a single artist there who’s ‘less than great’ — the skill and artistic ability across the whole staff is top tier.

They matched me with different artists based on what I needed: one rework and one touch-up, and both came out amazing. Joe and Dave were great to work with, and Maddie went out of her way to squeeze me into the schedule, which made all the difference. The pre-booking process and their text platform made communication easy and transparent from start to finish.

The shop is spotless, the conversation is great, and the whole experience was first class. Highly recommend.“

“I had an incredible experience with Rob Rose at 24 Hour Ink, and I can’t recommend him enough. I booked an appointment with Rob for a cover-up and a lion piece on my back. Initially, he explained that the project would likely take two, possibly three days depending on detail. Once we got started, he assessed everything and said he might be able to knock it out in one sitting if I could hang in there.
Let me tell you, this man is relentless in the best way possible. We tattooed for 13+ hours, and Rob never lost focus, energy, or precision. He gave me breaks when needed, kept the vibes right the entire time with good music and conversation, and made what could’ve been an exhausting session feel manageable and even enjoyable.
We didn’t leave the shop until 3-something in the morning, and the final result was absolutely worth it. The work is phenomenal, the detail is crazy, and the cover-up looks incredible. On top of that, his pricing was more than fair, especially considering the time, effort, and quality of work he put in.
What really stood out to me is that Rob genuinely cares about his work and his clients. He already told me to come back so he can take another look and handle any touch-ups if needed. That level of professionalism and pride in his craft goes a long way.
