“WOW, what a great experience with Manny’s Roofing. You want the BEST you have to call this company. From the very first meeting with Manny and his crew I knew I picked the BEST. HONEST as the day is long. Manny took care of all the details with the insurance company, followed thru with everything he promised to do. His crew came in like the swat team. Finished my roof in one day from 8am -7pm that night. Every single one of his crew were polite and Efficient. Cleaned up everything like it was their own home they were taking care of. I then had a water heater leak in my basement, they took care of that too. Ripped up carpets, moved furniture, brought in dehumidifiers. Put in new skylights and painted. Clean up was superior to any company that I have ever dealt with. To make a long story short, there are not enough stars to put on this page that comes close to complementing this company?????????????Special thanks to Juan and Brian today for all the hard work they did in my home today. It's noteworthy the the Company also is rated one of the area's top roofing contractors as reported in the New Haven Register.We have a '50's ranch home in Woodbridge which we have lived in for about 30 years. After about 23 years, our existing roof began to rapidly show signs of wear. Recent extreme wind and rain conditions added to our urgency to proactively take on this costly but necessary home project. Additionally, our original gutters were badly worn and I no longer can safely climb a ladder to clear out the significant debris which accumulates each spring and fall from our nearby trees. Valley Roofing and Siding was recommended to us by our neighbor who incurred heavy storm damage last year. Our neighbor was very pleased with the quality workmanship and ease in dealing with Valley Roofing and Siding and co-owner Chris Vartelas.I contacted Chris through a phone number on the Company website and described the project in a phone conversation. Within a week, Chris visited our home, climbed a ladder onto our roof and thoughtfully measured the job. About two weeks later, Chris delivered a carefully prepared proposal. We were pleased that Chris also spent the time to go over the proposal in detail. We had a few proposal clarifications to which I provided a written addendum. Admittedly, I can be formal in my communications when it comes to expensive home projects. All of our questions were ironed out and the cost was acceptable to us. Chris assured me that Valley Roofing and Siding stands behind their work, which mitigated our concerns about possible issues related to future product or installation failures.We had some start date restrictions in our calendar, but Chris flexed to a start date about three weeks out. On the project start date, a crew arrived at 7AM and went to work. A dumpster and roofing materials were delivered later in the morning and the project took off. The project contract was detailed with a scope for the complete removal and installation of a new roofing and gutter system. The system was built to specification, which generally included i) existing roof and gutter removal, ii)replacement of any aged / damaged plywood and facia boards, iii) the installation of a new waterproofing and roofing system, and iv) installation of a new (screened) gutter and downspout system. We were pleased to see substantive completion of the project in three days. On the fourth day, gutter screens, punch-list items and dumpster removal completed the project. Special attention was paid to clean up nails and other debris throughout the project.One nice aspect of the project management was that Chris was on site a portion of each day, available to answer any of our questions and to meet with his foreman who manages the project on site. Chris is an affable, knowledgable and consummate professional. He and his brother operate the business which they grew up in and took over from their founding father following his passing. There is no doubt that Chris stays abreast of industry developments and is passionate about his work. It is evident that each of Chris' decisions are centered on quality, fairness and preservation of the solid Company reputation developed over two generations. I did not meet Chris' co-owner brother, but it seems likely that these are shared values between brothers.Overall, the project went smoothly and we could not be more pleased with the quality craftsmanship, reliability, and professionalism provided by Valley Roofing and Siding from the project initiation to completion.Stephen FrancisServices: Gutter installation“

“I hired Salinas to redo the leaking flat roof on the back of my house, remove a chimney, and repoint another one.I have nothing but good things to say about Manny and his crew. Incredibly kind, respectful, and reasonable from quoting the job to performing the work and final payment.First, his price was honest. Other roofers I spoke to quoted me more than 5 times what Manny quoted for the exact same work. This is especially notable because so many contractors claim their high prices are because of their insurance fees and business licenses.Second, on the job he and his team were communicative, very willing to explain what they were doing and to be responsive to requests on how to get the job done to my preferences. The final product looks excellent and he guarantees no leaks for at least 5 years, but we both know it'll last much longer. When removing my chimney, he was willing to remove it all the way through my attic, clearing up my attic space so I can finish it into a large room! I am skeptical many others would have been willing to do that without charging some absurd number.Manny does exterior and interior work. I'll gladly hire Salinas for any job in the future!“
