The owner, Spiros, always does a good job. He is extrememly busy and his shop is packed with shoes. I saw that one review said he was rude. I always find him to be very friendly, but I also don't linger too long because I know that he's really busy. Also, he's kind of shy so give the guy a break! Everyone wants to criticize these days. I suspect the person who called him rude is probably a spoiled little brat who always wants everybody's undivided attention and if they don't get it, has a hissy fit.

I brought in a muddy pair of boots for a shine (first time I’ve ever been to the shop). He quotes me $30 and a week’s time. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but the boots look ok, no new laces, not the best shine I’ve ever had...$30 (cash only) and a week to turn them around. Also, the $30 doesn’t include a call when they are done; he was very clear you have to call him.
