We have a wood burning fireplace on the upper level of our house which worked great for many years. We replaced our pellet stove at the lower level of the house with a propane fueled stove 2 years ago. Immediately we had problems with the fireplace smoke flowing into the house instead of up the chimney. We contacted several fireplace/chimney services and was told that we needed to rebuild the fireplace. This would have necessitated removing much of the natural stone facing to the tune of $13,000. We move to our house 3 years ago we were told by two company that we couldn’t use our fireplace and they quoted us a few thousand dollars for repairs so we left it alone , two weeks Ago I decided to call around and I happened to call local chimney and 2 people came out look at my fireplace to my surprise all it needed was a good cleaning and repair the fireplace chamber for an less than a third of what 3 other companies was charging . I will always use them they are honest and knowledgeable and take the time to do the right work. We Highly recommend them and will always use them .
