I have had a spinal stimulator installed in my spine by dr batson just recently and i cant say enough good things about him, unfortunately he is retiring !! Dr. sanderson and his team are all professional, caring, focused and supportive๐๐ป๐ I had lower back surgery six weeks ago and everything went extremely well๐ Currently doing some PT in Southbury to help strengthen the surgical area, but the sciatica pain on my whole left side has essentially been gone since the day of my surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Sanderson to anyone seeking guidance, surgical skill and a very friendly presence tied to a conservative approach to helping you solve the source of your pain. I was admitted to the hospital, after my MRI revealed I needed surgery on my spine.Dr Sanderson called me the night before surgery. Dr Sanderson went over, in complete detail what he would be doing the next day. My left leg and foot were not responding to anything I tried to get them to be mobile again.
After surgery was over, while in the recovery room, I tried moving my left foot and left leg. I was able to move the foot, toes, and left leg. I had been told my dropped foot may not recorrected. Much to my surprise, I am now walking on my left foot and left leg with a walker.
