Moved into a new house last August with a Hot Tub and got it winterized by this company in December. We chose a different company for opening up the hot tub and it was filled with insects and white substance coming out of the jets. I'm giving two stars as I haven't been able to contact them about possible solutions to this yet. And because they were polite and cordial during initial service. The estimate to fix what happened to the hot tub is x4 what it cost to close it with this company. I would not recommend their winterization services and am now worried about any repairs my pool might need as it was also serviced by them same day.

Brace yourself this may be a long(ish) one. We recently moved and our new house came with a hot tub. We have 0 background knowledge on hot tubs and so we wanted to winterize it for the season and then open it back up in the spring to give us the winter to learn a bit more of what it needs.
The challenge was to find someone local to service the hot tub in southeastern CT (not many will!). When I first called I spoke with Dave and I immediately got a good vibe. He was willing to answer my questions and asked some helpful ones himself they were also reasonably priced.
I called on Friday to book with them and they scheduled me for first thing Monday morning. I was a bit nervous because I have a long commute to work and had a hard cut off time, but they assured me they would have it complete before I needed to be on the road.
Monday morning I received a text telling me when Nick (our service guy) would be arriving. Nick was phenomenal! He was so efficient and filled me in on what he would be doing while also reassuring me I would be on the road on time. He was done in less than an hour! I told him we wanted to hold on to the filters and he even gave me tips on cleaning them. He was very knowledgeable, positive, and willing to answer my questions as well.
We are very excited to have found our hot tub team. If you are looking for someone to service your hot tub, look no further than the Pool and Water People of CT!

From our very first consultation, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us find the perfect hot tub for our family. The hot tub itself is absolutely gorgeous and has become the centerpiece of our life. Someone from our family, and sometimes all of us uses it at least once a day. Really blown away with above and beyond service by Nick this morning who used his experience to not only repair leaks, replace tubing between pump and sand filter but INCREASE performance of the system!!! Love the Pool team and will use them exclusively for all pool service.

I am not one to write Google reviews often but I feel I must in this case. Dave, Pete and Nick helped my husband and myself (newbies to the pool world!) tremendously with opening our pool. I was almost ready to give up on owning a pool but Dave assured me that wouldn’t be necessary. They were very honest, helpful and extremely great at responding to my one million questions and unexpected emergencies I had during the process. I wouldn’t want to use any other pool company! Have used Dave and his crew most recently for a pool liner replacement. Everything went smooth as usual, no surprise charges or unnecessary upsells. They really do right by the customer. I’ve had a few years of openings, closings, and winter services done by them. They also replaced my old pump with a variable speed pump that saves electricity. I am a diy type when it comes to maintenance, and Dave was grateful in sharing knowledge on how to keep my pool and jacuzzi water levels optimal all year long. Highly recommend this company!

Dave and his crew have helped me out of many pool issues in the past few years but they just replaced our liner, and it couldn’t have gone any smoother. By smoother I mean for us, because the crew encountered unexpected issues but handled them with ease and got the job done quickly and professionally. Any time we talk, Dave always goes out of his way to be helpful and informative and his office staff is always quick to respond. I can’t recommend this company enough.
