Our CO detectors went off in August. They came out and determined everything is ok. We replaced the old ones a month ago. The new one went off almost a week ago. CO on all three floors. There was a deteriorated seal and a leaking heat exchanger because of an incorrectly installed seal. We have had no heat or hot water during this cold snap, and they are still waiting on the part. Very unhappy with this whole situation. I’d like an explanation as to why this was not found in August and fixed. Oh, and we are seniors.

I started using East Coast for repair when my other vendor tried to convince me to replace my HVAC system before I needed to. East Coast provided great service - efficient and cost effective - so they were the easy choice when it came time to replace my system and they did a superb job!

The ladies in the office are awesome, , helpful and they absolutely have the best customer service.

Very impressed with East Coast Mechanical ! From the beginning with the office staff , our salesman Dave and the highly skilled technicians . The job was started and finished on schedule!!

At the start of the summer we used East Coast Mechanical to remove our old oil furnace and tank, and got them replaced with a Mitsubishi Heat Pump + Mini-Split system.

I cannot express enough how professional and courteous everyone at this business truly is.

The sales rep we were first in contact with, Dave, was professional, timely, and incredibly knowledgeable. My wife and I knew almost instantly after speaking with him that we might end up going with East Coast. After getting several quotes, we came right back and signed up.

The crew that came out to perform the work were two outstanding gentlemen named Trevor and Lex. They were so polite and efficient, even making sure to take care to not let our cat out of the house, or into the crawl space as they were working. I could not have asked for a better crew to be coming in and out of the house all day. They even swept up the floor after they were done each day. All the work went smoothly, and they showed up on time each of the scheduled days.

The system itself has been amazing and easy to use, and we are already seeing benefits by way of our energy bill.

I have not had enough good things to say about our entire experience using East Coast Mechanical - I have been telling all friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers that there is not a better choice for HVAC work than the folks here.

Dave from ECM came to my home about 45 minutes early for the scheduled time. I was happy about that and said so to Dave. Our initial discussions centered around the fact that it was a heat wave and I needed the work done since both my wife and I are in our 70’s and I had my 6 month old and 7 year old grandchildren here for me to care for. Dave indicated that I would not have a date for installation until mid to late August. It was hot, hot and I was not happy with that. I questioned him, and maybe I was more excitable because of the heat and my wish to have us comfortable, but he said it was a heat wave and no one could do better. I continued to question if they had the staff to respond to their customers needs. He said that he didn’t like where our conversations were going and left. I met with another contractor (from Home Depot) that morning and was told I could get an install in 7 days. The next day (today) Dave’s competition for the job called and said they could do the install 2 days after the purchase (tomorrow). Yes, I was upset at Dave and indicated such but Dave really didn’t give me any feeling that he or his company cared. Poor customer Service for sure!.
