Maria saved they day after a barber at another shop completely butchered my son’s hair the day before his senior portrait. She was so kind and understanding, making sure he was comfortable and happy before he left the chair. In a world where taking pride in one’s work is getting rarer, I’m so happy to have stumbled across Cheshire Barber Shop, and will certainly be back.
Cheshire Barber Shop keeps it simple: You get a good haircut at a reasonable price, in excellent company. Despite the misleading name (Cheshire Barber Shop moved across the border to Hamden years ago), Maria carries on a local family tradition started by her late father generations ago. She's pleasant, and careful, and she's great with our 4-year-old. Can't recommend highly enough.
It is a good old fashioned Barbershop with one very fun difference. The haircuts are the best I've had in years . I enjoy going there. Give it a try. It is different but in a very good and fun way
