Emily never fails to make me feel my absolute best! Her talent, attention to detail, and warm personality are unmatched. The entire salon is just as impressive—the front desk staff, assistants, and every employee go out of their way to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, you feel cared for and valued. The service here is truly exceptional!

I don’t even have the words to explain how wonderful my experiences have been at this salon. First let me start by saying the salon is a beautiful, clean, inviting atmosphere. All of the staff have been so pleasant and kind. I have been sporadically going to Emily for cuts (I’m not great with self care and maintenance) for a couple of years; I was long overdue and desperately needed help with taming the frizz. I have thick, wavy-curly, hair. It was long, dry, frizzy, brittle and just over all unhappy; lacking any type of definition. I tried so many different products and techniques to no avail. I happened to be off work this week and called on a whim, hoping they could squeeze me in, and they totally accommodated me and were able to offer an appointment on Thursday (5/22) morning. I walked in and Emily asked “ok, what are we doing?” And I just respond “help me”. I explained my concerns and what I was trying to achieve— a lower maintenance, curly girl cut, with face framing and education on appropriate products and application to keep it tamed. I no longer wish to blow dry and flat iron into a straightened style. After washing, conditioning and cutting (exactly how I asked), she enlisted Devon for help. Devon, whom I’ve never met before, jumped right in. Being a curly girl herself, she asked what my routine is (anything and everything but nothing works). She was like “ok, I got you”. She took the time to find appropriate products, educated me on how to apply and styled my hair into probably the best I’ve seen it EVER. I just washed and styled my hair today, since being at the salon, and while not quite as amazing as when Devon did it, it’s definitely a million times better than before and a stepping stone to my curly girl journey. I may have been a bit shy with my product application today but practice makes perfect. I cannot thank Emily and Devon enough and highly recommend this salon. As far as price goes, they are fair and comparable. I happened to buy a ton of new products this time but well worth it.

I have lived in CT since 2010 (before that NYC) and have searched for the perfect color and cut salon for years unsuccessfully until I found Lori at Cappola-Brokaw. I have been a loyal customer for years and can highly recommend the salon. I drive an hour each way and would travel much further for the quality and experience that I always receive when I go there. They use the best products, and it is a highly professional environment located in the quaint downtown area of Cheshire. Check it out!

Patty Coppola-Brokaw has created the absolute best salon experience. From the friendly greeting the moment you walk through the door into the beautiful, clean atmosphere, to the hospitality of the entire staff ensuring you are acknowledged, then set up and offered refreshments is just the beginning! You will have a consultation every single time before heading to the “lather lounge” for a luxurious, massage style shampoo and condition with a warm towel at your neck. Patty has been my stylist for many, many, years, her talent, experience, and commitment to her business make her a standout in the industry. As far as her staff of highly trained stylists, I have had the pleasure of working with many of them over the years and they are all under the watchful eye of their dedicated leader to ensure the best service and experience possible.

I liked my Stylist. She did a great job with my hair. Though I had to wait to even be noticed that I was waiting at the counter. I had to find someone to request to help and say I had an appointment. They are also very expensive and not transparent with their prices. I’m happy with my current stylist but I had some very poor stylist there also. It depends who u go to.

Best hair salon experience ever. My hair was still gorgeous and shiny and healthy look and feel days after. And the stylist listened to me. I drive 30 mins to this location now even though there are half a dozen salons walking distance of where I live. It is that worth it. My stylist is Lori.

I have been coming to Coppola-Brokaw for years. Lori, my stylist, is phenomenal. There are no words.On another note, the entire staff is just wonderful.Sarah, the salon coordinator, is so in tune with everyone and always on point. Demi and Dev are always so lovely to me when they “pinch hit” with shampoos.Everyone at Art of Hair is kind, talented— in a refreshing unpretentious way.In addition, they are probably the most accommodating and polite people you ever want to know. ❤️

Always perfection. I have never had an experience that was anything less than 5+ stars. Special shout out to Patty who always knows exactly what my hair needs and never rushes which is unbelievable considering how busy they always are. Truly the best of the best from start to finish - every time!
