132 Westminster Rd, Canterbury“10 STARS for Dr Alice! She KNOWS her field. She takes time explaining the condition for which the symptoms are the reason for your call. She is clear, very clear, on what to do with your Large Animal between the visit and the followup. She assumes the customer is intelligent and doing the right thing, never talks down to any client. She is a foreward thinker and uses every piece of experience she has had in her past along with up to date equine/large animal vet research and study. The reason why I have to give a 4 star is because there is a high charge for travel fees for being 31 miles away from Canterbury, wherein there are no highways.“

291 Kate Downing Rd, Plainfield“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dr. Cara and her vet tech Keri (apology for probably misspelling) for over three years when I inherited my elderly Thoroughbred Cody. From my very first interaction with this team I couldn’t believe how kind and gentle they were with my boy. They spoke to him and treated him with such respect and dignity.
The mission of this practice, to treat the animals and foster a working relationship with the owners to provide the best possible care for them, is genuine. The advice and encouragement that I received as a first time horse owner made all the difference to me (and Cody).
I found my boy colicking two days ago and was able to reach Dr. Cara immediately. When they rec came out she told me the truth of the situation but with kindness and caring, and Cody’s final moments were filled with gentleness, kindness and love. That is Kneser Veterinary Services and I’m so very grateful to them.“
8AM - 7PM
616 Wauregan Rd, Danielson“Sophie is a 10 year old military service dog, with a knee injury and bad hips. We pre-paid for laser joint treatments, showed up 15 minutes early, checked in, and were ignored for 45 minutes. The poor dog. She's in agony, and you OVERBOOK, AND TAKE EVERY WALK IN, INSTEAD OF HELPING SOPHIE. We put your KID through VETERANARY SCHOOL, after SIX YEARS of having THREE DOGS seen there, at premium prices. THIS is how you THANK a KENEALY KENNELS senior SERVICE dog??!! It's very sad, because the veteran is distraught now, and questions whether he wants another service dog after his experiences there. Devastating.“
8AM - 5PM
1 Colonel Brown Rd, Griswold“Twin Pines Equine is a fantastic team of dedicated, caring and skilled vets - they will do what is right for you and your horses, and make recommendations that are rational and the best for your horse. Their prices are reasonable and they offer 'wellness plans' that allow you to reduce your costs and get a lot of annual services at an affordable rate upfront. I highly recommend the team here!“
9AM - 5PM
729 Hartford Pike, Dayville“This vet went above and beyond for my cat Axel in an emergency situation! Without them he wouldn’t have made it! I am so thankful for their compassion and kindness! They treated us with such love! 10/10 recommend!“

“It’s so nice for once to not feel like my cat is getting substandard care, just because they aren’t a dog.
Everyone here has treated my cats with the care they deserve and I am beyond grateful.
You can tell everyone loves cats“
