My wife and I went to see High Noon on Friday night and it was our first trip to the Broad Brook Opera House. The show was fantastic. The band even did a meet and greet for the fans after the show. I've never been to a southern rock show, although I've been listening to it as long as I can remember. They covered the Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, the Marshall Tucker Band, and a few others.Even better than the show was the house staff. As we had never been there, we had to figure a few things out. Where can we order food, drinks, do they bring it upstairs to us, etc. I started off with, "This is my first time here..." Fantastic venue. Great acoustics and sound. Super friendly staff. Actually, super duper friendly staff. Plenty of seating along the dance floor. Bar both upstairs and down. Biggest downside is limited parking.
It's my first time here, getting to play with my band Leon Trout, with Jelly and Turtle Logic. The venue is BEAUTIFUL, the staff is incredible, friendly and welcoming, the food is AMAZING, and what a room!? So excited to hit the stage in an hour. Lucky to be living this life!!!
