This review is for Avon but also quick acknowledgement to every staff member I've dealt with across four locations so far, they're all amazing! Round 1 was split up since the scheduling was so immediate and shortsighted and the season is busy, but they have been able to accommodate me at their various branches (Round 2 and beyond has been scheduled in a single visit). It began with a phone call and a request for the earliest available consultation time, which is what brought me to the Avon location first. Everything was explained in detail up front and I caught an amazing sale prize around the holiday for full body. The facilities are clean, well lit, and cozy. Even though Elijah explained the process thoroughly during consultation and over the phone beforehand, my nurse practitioner Jen recapped the full process to make sure I had no further questions or concerns. Unfortunately, I had some previous sun exposure with some burns and tans (about 4 weeks prior) that Jen identified and safely avoided for round one so the damaged skin can heal. I'm saddened to have to wait to begin treating these minor areas, but am grateful that my safety was the bottom line. Pain and discomfort from the process isn't as bad as the hype. There are a few very small, sensitive areas around the body that I would say do actually sting for a few seconds, but most of it's like a light rubber band snap without too much force. It is definitely an investment, but even before seeing the full results I have no regrets. Kudos to the professionalism, training, and medical grade lasers. Yet those pale in comparison to how Milan treats you. My appointments feel more like a trip to see friends and family, with the laser hair removal somehow being an added bonus. “I was Permanently Scarred by a hair removal technician due to a wax burn that involved bleeding and skin removal of approximately 5/8ths of skin. I was able to get in for an appointment very quickly and they had early hours to accommodate my work schedule.
