CertaPro Painters is a top notch outfit. We have a 300 year old Colonial home and wanted a company that would treat our home well. From the initial estimate, to the speedy completion of the work, and the exceptional cleanup afterwards, we could not be happier! Five star reviews are earned - we are presently working with another home improvement company and promises have not been kept, timelines not respected, and some of the work literally needs to be redone, going on 7 weeks. CertaPro Painters did a fantastic job with my interior condo painting and ceilings. Very professional and answered all my questions as needed and handled all of my concerns. As a first time home-buyer they made the process extremely easy and I was able to get my entire place painted at an affordable cost. This company was good for the most part came out quickly and they did a good job painting. HOWEVER…. They need a lesson on staining. I provided a stain for the railings that had a polyurethane finish on it. It’s common sense that in order for stain to stick and for the railing to not look sloppy you have to SAND down to bare wood. They did not. They stained over the existing polyurethane. The guy comes to me and says it doesn’t look good. Wellll no shit. Smh. The other thing is the pricing. They only quote for 1 coat and the field rep needs to be more up front and say it will need at least 2 coats etc. and give price for that. Not say 2 days later it will need another coat and I have to try to understand what they are saying since there is a language barrier.
