This review is overdue but I wanted to make sure I had time to share all the positive things about this place. I brought my dog, Snow, who is a 3 pound almost 10 year old chihuahua who had very severe periodontal disease and needed all her teeth removed. I was referred by another local clinic who said this place was the best. I will say that from beginning to end, the staff were so welcoming and kind. I was so nervous, Snow is truly my first child I’ve had since I was 20 and she’s so tiny and fragile It was hard to hold onto trust with any place but I’ll say this place had my full faith and hope that she would be okay. They did consultation and had very good pictures and explaining everything to me in detail, they gave me a price range, and we booked the surgery within a month. They called me twice, first time was to let me know she was doing okay and surgery is going good and second was to pick her up and I was just so happy that my baby was okay and she was getting the proper care she needed. It’s been two months post surgery and our snowy is doing so well. She doesn’t have that horrible breath anymore and I’m grateful to have been able to improve her quality of life. While this may be goodbye for Snowy since no teeth remain, I know if we ever have a dog in the future with teeth issues where we’d be going and also would recommend them to anyone we know. Thank you so much Dr Herrman and team for treating Snowy like she was yours!

Absolute pleasure to work with them. Took stellar care of my cat when he had to have a few teeth pulled and crowned. Couldn’t have asked from more professionalism from Dr.Fillion and the rest of the awesome staff! 100% worth the drive from southeast CT.

My cat is never happy to go to the Vet, but they are very kind and gentle with her. I suspected my cat was having dental issues and Dr Herrman confirmed as she was showing me the X-rays and explaining the care plan. I have been going to her for many years with both dogs and a cat. Her care and attention to detail are excellent. Prices are reasonable. I would not go anywhere else for dental care for my animals.

Changing caretakers for my beloved animals always brings me a lot of anxiety. When my 3-year-old dog—who happens to build plaque like crazy—needed her third dental, I decided to seek out a veterinary practice that specializes in dental care.
Choosing Companion Animal Dental Services was absolutely the right decision. From the initial consultation to picking my girl up after her procedure, the entire experience was outstanding. The team was kind, organized, and clearly very skilled at what they do.
Her teeth look better than ever, and for the first time she had no GI upset the following day, which has happened after past dentals. That alone spoke volumes to me about their process.
I highly recommend Dr. Genevieve Filion and the entire team at Companion Animal Dental Services. They are caring, highly skilled professionals, and I’m incredibly grateful to have found them.

I'm a veterinarian myself, and when my dog broke his tooth I contacted Companion Animal Dental to schedule a consult. He's had two visits with them, and both Dr. Herrman and Dr. Filion did a fantastic job with his care. Of course I was surprised during the second visit when the dental x-rays not only confirmed the one broken tooth that prompted the visit, but also revealed that he was starting to develop problems around the roots of several of his incisors. I'm grateful they took the time to provide comprehensive care so that we could be proactive with his health. Highly recommended!

We traveled 90 minutes to this practice and it was absolutely worth it! The doctors and staff were so welcoming and very helpful. They made a treatment plan specific to our cat's needs, complete with X-rays and clear photographs pre and post surgery. Communication before, during, and after the surgery was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality dental care.
