Took my dog in to an urgent care hospital roughly 4 years ago because of a rash. 4 years later I start getting daily text messages from silver lake animal hospital in Berlin. I had no clue what this place was or why they are messaging me. I have never been to any veterinary clinic in Berlin.
When I call the number provided it’s some other place in Plainville with a different name (maybe the place I went to years ago I have no clue) I thought it was some kind of scam at first.
My experience with this place 4 years ago was horrible, I had to sit in my car for hours and my dog who suffers from separation anxiety was terrified because they would not allow me to go in with him. To this day I have NO CLUE what they did to my dog but I’ve never seen him so scared when he got back in my car. He was shaking and I had to ride home in the back seat with him to comfort him.
To suddenly start getting text messages years later is just nuts. I will never bring my dog to this place again mostly because they refused to allow me to go in with him, and if they are still doing this, I strongly urge others to go elsewhere.
YOU SHOULD NEVER BE DENIED BEING PRESENT WHEN YOUR PET IS BEING TREATED! IMAGINE TELLING A PARENT THEY CANT BE PRESENT WHEN THEIR CHILD IS WITH THEIR DOCTOR!

They were amazing! In and out in an hour. Omar was amazing when working with my cat Felix. He was so calm and patient. Dr. Valipe was great at explaining everything and answered any questions I had. They were amazing when it came to handling my cat, so gentle and assuring. Definitely appreciated all the help they provided!

Julian was incredibly kind and supportive when we brought our dog in for urgent care. He did our intake and stayed for the duration of our visit. Dr. Gomez was extremely careful and thorough with her examination. Both explained in detail what the care needs were for our dog to heal. From the time we were checked in until we were discharged, we interacted with at least 4 staff members and everyone was so nice. Thank you!

Was not friendly...I waited 1.5 hours, with several pets In front of us. Finally got up and asked if Dr was on lunch..how long of a wait..she replied 5-6 hours...not waiting for emergency 5-6 hours. Sorry will not recommend

Clean and organized. Friendly staff. Kind and knowledgeable doctor. They saw my dog with an injury right away even though we had never been in before. The treatment was clearly presented and reasonably priced. We left with all equipment and medications she needed. I would use them as regular vet for sure.

We had an un urgent visit with our pup at this Plainville location on Christmas Eve and I can’t say enough how grateful we are for Dr. Gomez and the Vet Tech, Omar. They were both so gentle and so good with our nervous girl. They were able to see us immediately, we were done in under an hour and we couldn’t be more grateful for the teams working late through the holiday season and staying positive and cheerful through it!
