This is the second time I've used County Door & Hardware (Mr. Rick) for my Garage Door Maintenance Repairs. Mr. Rick answered my call directly for my Garage Door that would only open a few inches then shut (Door Torsion Spring Broke). Rick was at the house that Monday morning to confirm the Door Torsion Spring was broken, and provided invaluable "safety" information to avoid any injuries with the broken torsion spring...i.e. Do Not Unlock the Door (Red Cord and Handle) from the Motor Chain/Drive while the door is in the up position, and to unplug the electrical plug for the motor until the broken door torsion spring (s) are changed. Rick checked the availability of torsion springs (Parts not readily available due to Covid-19)...But with his many years of experience and contacts he was able to locate the required torsion springs in Denver. Rick was back at the house on Thursday morning (after my initial call on Monday) with the torsion springs (changed in pairs) to complete the repair. I can honestly say that Mr. Rick is "The" local business Garage Door Repair Expert for Teller & El Paso Counties. Rick is courteous, a true professional, and above all follows all Safety Measures and Procedures to ensure his customers are not in a danger or risky scenario during his diagnosis, awaiting parts or during the repair. I used this company to replace and overhead spring that busted on my two car garage. They had the best price and were able to get out quickly. Friendly service. I had one of the rollers that had popped out a few times. He looked at and said it was ok now but to call if I had problems. I did continue to have problems with it even after I replaced the roller. Eventually I got a hold of him and he said we would be out in the next few days. He never came out or called. I called several times over several weeks and left voice messages and he has never called back or come out. I personally do not want to use a company that does not stick by their word or respond.

Rick installed my double garage doors about 10 years ago and they worked fine until we accidentally backed into one, causing the door to refuse to go down. It took a couple calls to get Rick back out to my home in Divide but when he did show up he fixed the door in 5 minutes with a couple well placed whacks with a hammer. He was sorry for the hard time I had getting a hold of him so he comped me the visit. Great guy and excellent local business. Highly recommend.
