I’ve been dancing at Northern Colorado Dance Fusion since I was one and a half years old, and this studio has truly become a second home to me. It’s not just a place where I go to dance — it’s a place where I’ve grown up, found my confidence, and learned so much about who I am. Carissa has played such a huge role in that. She’s taught me how to love myself and others in ways I can’t even begin to explain. She’s shown me how to handle challenges, how to stay strong when life gets hard, and how to always find something positive to hold onto.
Carissa takes time for every single one of her students. She doesn’t just teach dance — she connects with people. She really sees us, learns what we need, and helps each of us in our own way. Whether it’s giving encouragement after a tough day, helping us push through a difficult routine, or celebrating every little victory, she’s always there. Her kindness, patience, and passion for teaching shine through in everything she does.
The studio itself is filled with the most welcoming and supportive people. Every teacher here genuinely cares about their students, not only about how we dance, but about who we are as people. They help us grow in confidence, discipline, creativity, and teamwork. The other dancers feel like family — we cheer each other on, we lift each other up, and we share memories that will last a lifetime.
Northern Colorado Dance Fusion is so much more than just a dance studio. It’s a place where you can express yourself, make lifelong friends, and find people who truly care about you. It’s where you learn that dance isn’t only about steps or technique — it’s about heart, connection, and passion. I have been dancing with Carissa and at the studio for many years now and I have created such good memories and bonds and have found a safe space where I feel loved and supported and cared for and we create loving communities and the love we share is so amazing I’m blessed and thankful to be apart of this dance community that we have become and to have the boundaries and standards that we have throughout dance I have learned self respect and to have a good heart and that being a good person is so important dance has taught me so much in the past few years and I have learned so much about myself and about life and that you should never take things for granted I’m so grateful for every opportunity that comes with being part of this and for all the blessings love and support we all have for one another this place is like my second home and family and we all play a huge role in dance and dance has become such a blessing in my life

My experience working with Carissa has been amazing! I have been lucky enough to rent space in her beautiful studio for my new business and she has been incredibly supportive every step of the way. The entire studio is stunning and always completely spotless- which is not an easy task when you have that many kiddos around! I haven’t worked with her on the dance side of things, but I can truly say both Carissa and her space are welcoming, bright and vibrant and have been such a gift to find this early in my business journey.

I’ve been a dancer since I was 3 years old and when I tell you NoCo Dance Fusion is the best place to be I mean it! 🤍 I reached out to 5 dance studios when I moved to Greeley, and there was only ONE studio who got back to me and has been my home for the past 10 years!! The owner is such an amazing, kind hearted woman, who welcomes everyone in and gives them space to grow as both a person AND a dancer. The teachers have worked day in and day out planning dances and lessons that fit to their students needs. The prices are fit for ALL and the schedule changes to fit the needs of the community. I am thrilled to continue to be a part of the Fusion Family and highly recommend to all who are in search of a dance studio who gives 1v1 attention, teaches technique, combos, and self-love, encourages and builds up students, and supports family and community needs!! 🤍

Honestly I would give this studio zero stars if I could. I read another review stating the same and her experience at Northern Colorado Dance Fusion and it was practically copy and paste I went to Carissa's studio for 8 years and we had a very close relationship the first 4-5 years then I came in for a solo and I had brought a friend I don't remember what the remark was but my friend had said something harmless to another worker and she flipped on me ever since when I had nothing to do with it. I did competitions with Carissa and even when I was dancing in 5 different classes every week I had gotten sick in between classes and told her I needed to go home and she yelled and screamed at me telling me she didn't care if I was sick and if I wanted to stay on the competition team that I better suck it up and finish my dance classes I called my eyes out feeling completely blind sided, hurt, and confused. We never had to cover up tattoos or take piercings out for regular recitals and the last year I was there she yelled at me at the recital for not covering up my tattoos or taking my piercings out when everyone else's were showing and Carissa was not saying anything to them. She would constantly be little and degrade me causing me to question my abilities as a dancer. She switches up on you for no reason and she has favorites that get special treatment while others are being emotionally abused. Since I went to her from the time I was 11 to 18 so when she switched up on me I was a child and she was/is the adult I was constantly asking Carissa to get together with her to resolve our issues but she never care to but then would also turn her back and call my mom venting about my "behavior" in class and my friend which again had nothing to do with Carissa. She should know how to act like an adult, treat everyone equally, and stay professional but she can't because she is an 32 year old adolescent that I would never spend another minute wasting my time in her presence. She also would constantly talk crap about other students when they were not I honestly couldn't tell you how she still has a business by the way she treats people but Carissa couldn't be any more fake nor cold to actual adolescent's don't let your children get emotionally abused like I did no one deserves to be treated the way she treats people Carissa and I had even been spreading suicidal awareness together when we were close we started making movement together and she was childish enough to let a situation that had nothing to do with me nor her ruin our connection, our movement, and our future together as dancer and teacher. 10 out of 100 would not recommend. She was my inspiration when I started dancing with her and now I want to be nothing like her and that is sad and truly heartbreaking breaking

I have been dancing here for almost 7 years and am about to work here, it is such a loving, fun, and uplifting community. But it’s also skilled and competitive in all the good ways. Before competition we always mediate, get grounded, and say affirmations to eachother. There are endless opportunities offered here and you can really be anything. We have a big variety of dancers so nomatter who you are you don’t have to feel singled out. If you join you are welcomed with opened arms. We are not a dance moms studio….only live here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Amazing studio!!! My daughter has danced here for 8.5 years and loves the home that has been created for her there! Carissa is so patient, loving, and supportive. Along with excellent skill and endurance, the students are taught self affirmation, positivity and grace.
