I was referred to Marcus by a mutual contact. I had an initial call with him.. He was friendly and seemed very interested in my business. He had me send him my taxes, and then completely dark on me despite multiple follow-ups on my part over several weeks. It’s completely unprofessional to take my tax forms with my Social Security number and all sorts of other private financial information about me, say that he is going to do an intake and then completely go dark on me. I trusted him and sent him my documentation because he was a referral through another tax advisor. If I could leave zero stars I would. Left my tax documents with Marcus February 22, 2024. I had 30 minute meeting with him discussed I would need a tax return for Utah and Colorado- I would have capitol gains from selling two properties and depreciation recapture. Marcus said no problem would probably cost around $1,000 and he would have them filed by April 15th. Wanting an update I contacted Tanner front desk the last week of March since I hadn’t heard from them and left messages 3 different times that week for Marcus to please contact me with estimate of taxes owed (I knew I would owe $40,000 plus to Irs). Marcus never contacted me. All I wanted was a text or... read full review
