“My dog completed his evaluation for daycare and then I took him in the next day for daycare. He came home a happy and tired pup. This is mostly an indoor facility that appears to be kept very clean. They separate dogs by size for daycare which I like. Frank completed my evaluation and he was very professional and informative. I also met a few of the other employees and they were great at handling my dog. They understood my concerns with my dog being brachycephalic and they are familiar with that breed which put me at ease. “Took our yorkie here because her regular grooming place was booked for a while. They did a decent job but the hair on the back of the head was a bit choppy and private parts weren't super neat. Our dog is also a nervous dog, so there's that. Probably better for big dogs.“

“My little Yorkie girl suddenly developed a horrible honking cough, like she had something stuck in her throat and she could not cough it up and at times could not catch her breath. Huron Animal Hospital got me in same day and we saw Dr. Seiffert. The tech immediately took her into the back to give her some oxygen to help her breathe better. They asked if they could take an x-ray and I said of course! The vet came back and said that she has a collapsed trachea. That’s why she’s fighting for her breath.. We talked about several options, starting with surgery to managing comfort care in the interim. The vet even called down to the specialty wheat Ridge Hospital to get more information about doing a tracheal stent. I Just appreciate the straight talk and helping to come up with options and solutions. My Yorkie is doing OK with the medications Dr Seiffert sent us home with. Ijust have to keep her calm until I can determine the best surgery solution and where to get it done. It is just very comforting to have a partner with Huron Animal Hospital as I go through some tough And costlydecision-making. When I paid my bill before I left, I was pleasantly surprised as it was Very reasonable. I have a new vet now! Thanks, Huron Animal Hospital and Dr. Seiffert!“
