While every veterinary cardiologist in the Denver area was booked 4-6 weeks out, when I explained the dire situation, Choice Vet Specialists and Dr. Carroll Loyer managed to fit her in. We couldn’t be more impressed and thankful for the excellent care and compassion of both Dr Loyer and his entire staff. After 6 hours in their care, Zoe is so much better. Her treatment protocol is complex and Dr Loyer and his staff both explained everything until we understood and encouraged us to call anytime we have concerns or questions. I was able to get an appointment quickly and the staff and vet were very compassionate and presented me with a variety of treatment options. Unfortunately, the issue was not something that could be effectively treated and was related to old age.
