DO NOT come here for a massage!! It was the worst massage experience in my life and I had to abruptly end it after only 20 mins. They didn't speak any english and used some type of Chinese lotion that burned my skin. She kept lathering it on and because it was a slow burn, I had no idea of the effects until 15-20 minutes in. Even my passive nature tried to stomach through it, but it was so strong the pain I had to stop. I was in such pain, I thought I was going to get permanent marks. I couldn't believe they used that lotion, it didn't even have english writing on it. On top of that, the lady had no idea how to do a massage or any type. I felt nothing but the burning sensation of the sting. I didn't even think they would charge me but they still did. They didn't even have a massage table, it was just some flimsy mattress on the floor in a tiny space that I could barely fit into. I cant say anything about their nail service, but for a massage - either use the Thai place nearby or just run away before your permanently stung.

I highly recommend this nail salon!!! The nail techs are always so kind and they actually listen to what you want!!! Ying gives the best massages while getting pedicures!!

Kim and her staff are phenomenal! She truly is a master of her craft and I will not go to any other salon in Steamboat. You should book an appointment though as it can get very busy. The salon is very clean, quite, and also relaxing. I highly recommend KN Beauty Salon!!

I got a gel manicure on my natural nails, and even with gel polish on, my nails are very weak, bendy, and brittle. Two of my nails broke just two days after my appointment, which I have never had happen before. Unfortunately, I think my nails were filed down way too much with the drill. The person doing my nails didn't know how to go about the process properly at all, but the owner sat me at her table anyway. I also noticed a ton of bubbles in the gel once I got home, which isn't ideal for the price I paid

I came in for only a polish change on my acrylic nails I had done 5 days prior at another salon. I expressed many times that I loved the shape and length and only wanted a new color because I didn’t like the design. My nails were absolutely destroyed. She filed away until I ripped my hand away.. Every nail is now a different shape and length and a child could have done a better paint job. The original paint still showing in spots and paint all over my cuticles. They charged me $25 to ruin my nails and the owner just kept offering to fix them, but I was out of time and patience as the “polish change” took 45 mins.

I love going to KN Beauty Salon. Ying does pedicures and she is so bubbly and personable. The conversations are always great and she makes the whole experience relaxing and fun. She has such a warm personality and after going a few times it really feels like catching up with a friend. Kim does my nails and she is the sweetest and so talented. She is incredibly creative and really cares about making sure your nails turn out even better than you imagined. They are both amazing at what they do and I always leave feeling so happy with my nails and the whole experience. Highly recommend.

I visited this business hoping for a pleasant experience, but I was extremely disappointed. The service was poor from the start — the staff seemed uninterested and rushed. They were rude when I asked simple questions and didn’t seem to care about my concerns.
The environment felt unwelcoming, and I left feeling frustrated. I expected better professionalism and customer care. Based on my visit, I cannot recommend this business to others.

I love it here! Kim always does a good job and she’s fast! Sometimes she can take walk ins but highly recommend making an appointment. I’ve never had an issue with not getting in that same day. My favorite nail salon in steamboat.. and I’ve tried a few. She never leaves clumps under my nails and these nails today in particular… she hand painted and elevated my original idea! I keep staring at my hands 💕💅🏼

We absolutely love getting our nails done here. The owner always does my daughter's nails, and she seems to outdo herself every time. We bring in what we think we want, and she turns it into a beautiful set of nails. Highly recommend this nail salon.
