Not sure why there are no recent reviews of this place, but I feel like it's time to offset the old negatives. I just got a haircut from Kari and am 100% satisfied. There are certainly fancier, higher priced places around town, but the laid-back, easy vibe here suited me perfectly. The people are nice and Kari was able to accommodate me when my usual place was booked out for weeks. We chatted briefly about my cut ("just a trim") and she took her time to make it look just right -- plus the price was very reasonable. A nice bonus was a sleeping puppy at my feet and free candy! I'll definitely be back.
I have been to this salon 2 times now. The first time was for a trim, and the second was a trim and layers. I saw Bona both times. On both occasions, I felt like more length was taken off than was needed to keep it healthy and service was rushed. The pricing is affordable which is hard to find in Summit County, but there was an appointment scheduled 30 minutes after mine. To get good blended layers takes more time. I ended up with one length of layers and blunt ends. Guess you get what you pay for.
I came into New Concept as a new client for hair coloring match and to cover a lot of gray -- I had a wonderful experience with quality service and my hair looks great - I'll be a regular! Thank you!
