I was going to work part-time for Nelson Fleming. After 2 days, I decided it wasn't going to be a good fit. It's been 1 1/2 months and I have not been paid for my time. This is against the law. I should have been paid on the next regularly scheduled pay date, as I was hired as an employee. I called him and emailed him. Now, I'm filing a complaint with the Colorado Dept of Labor. It isn't much money, but it's the principal. Employers are required to pay employees for work performed. Interesting as well, because he's a CPA. Not sure of his ethics at this point.
