Ace--the person who answered the phone at Matthews Bros Elec, provided out-of-this world customer service by explaining that my space heater was drawing too much electricity from my 20 amp from the breaker box, which caused the circuit breaker to switch off, but I felt best to have all electrical work checked anyway since the house is close to 90 years old. He gave me an hourly price over the phone which I gladly accepted. Michael, the electrician, was actually a little early, and he had on double masks, which I requested. His service was out of the galaxy!!! This is true----needless to say, they are the best!

We renovated our entire home and they did a fantastic job. The electricians from Matthews always showed up on time, were professional, cleaned up after themselves each day (they were in our home at least a dozen times over a 2 month renovation period) and most importantly, they performed quality work. They talked us through options when we needed to make decisions and they made sound recommendations as well. They have done some additional small jobs for us since we finished our renovation and they've worked on our ditch and shed electrical needs, too. They were, once again, really great and their prices are very reasonable. They are the only electricians in Canon City...read full review

Called Matthews Bros. Elec. because we had a couple concerns about a recently purchased home. The technician came out & checked our electrical the same day. He was knowledgeable, professional & honest - he did not prescribe unnecessary work! My husband & I would recommend these guys to others & would definitely call them back if/when the need arises in the future! Thx!
