I had been a patient at this facility for almost 8 years and was seen about 12 times with no issues. My last visit was for severe quad pain. I asked for a ketorolac injection which I had previously received at this same clinic for piriformis pain and it worked extremely well. The resident told me since I had taken ibuprofen earlier ketorolac might not be a good idea. I explained that the last time I received ketorolac at this clinic I had also taken ibuprofen and was told not to take any more NSAIDs for a few days. He said he’d speak with the attending. The attending, Meg Burke, came in and again said ketorolac would not be given because it could hurt my kidneys. I repeated my prior experience at this clinic. She said she would review my chart. When they came back she simply said no. That was it. No alternative care plan. She never even laid hands on me for a physical exam. I then asked her calmly if she had any empathy. She immediately got up and left the room encouraging the resident to leave as well. He stayed and was actually decent. The next day I read my care note and was shocked. It stated that I became combative after asking for and being denied a benzodiazepine. This is a blatant lie. I never once asked for a benzodiazepine, not by class, not by name. What patient asks for a classification of drug instead of the actual medication like Valium or Ativan? That alone makes no sense. In 8 years at this clinic I was prescribed Valium exactly three times — 5 pills each time, 15 pills total over nearly a decade. Once for flying, once when my son, a Navy Special Forces operator, went missing on deployment, and once when it was suggested by the physician for severe piriformis pain. That is not drug seeking behavior. Notably, the resident’s note never mentioned me asking for benzodiazepines. Despite 8 years with zero issues, I was dismissed from the practice for being combative based on false charting. I reached out multiple times to the office manager requesting a call back and asking to add an addendum to my chart disputing this, which is my legal right as a patient. My calls and emails were never returned. These doctors wonder why patients no longer trust the medical system. This is why. If you are reading this I would strongly suggest staying away. If you have no other option do not see Meg Burke. In my experience she falsified my chart, manipulated documentation, and then dismissed me to protect herself and her ego. Don’t risk inaccurate information being placed in your permanent medical record.

Dr Gamundoy did wonders for me! I came in with a horrible neck spasm and when I left I was able to move my neck better than when I walked in. I highly recommend this place if you have any kind of neck or back issues.
