If I could give Colorado Specialty Contracting more than five stars, I absolutely would.

When my daughter arrived at our Pagosa home in September, she noticed our backyard was unusually wet—so wet that she initially thought a hose had been left running. Days went by and the water never disappeared. I contacted the Pagosa Water Department to check our usage, which showed nothing abnormal. They even came to the property and observed water bubbling up from the ground, advising me to contact a plumber.

What followed was weeks of frustration. Throughout September and October, I reached out to city offices, requested recommendations, tried to contact the water commissioner, and consulted others working construction in the area—yet no one could identify the source of the problem or offer a solution. Meanwhile, I was genuinely worried the ongoing water issue would damage my home.

Finally, I reached out to my longtime friend Marsha Giordano Preuit, who offered to contact her son, Michael. He came out, evaluated the situation, and immediately brought in Jason with Colorado Specialty Contracting—and from that moment on, everything changed.
