Dr. Mike is a great example of what is great about Nederland. Friendly, knowledgeable, caring and not too busy. He is great with my kids letting them listen to our dogs heart beat and check his eyes. He followed up with us after we brought our dog in for an infected eye. Highly recommend, and so does our neighbor who first told us about him.

Appointment was made in short notice, and we were able to bring our cat in within a few days. Michael was very warm and personable. He made our cats issue easy to understand and didn't pass judgment :) Seems like he has a big heart for animals too. I can't recommend him enough if you live in the mountains and don't want to travel down the hill.

Our kitten was very sick. At 7 months old, she is a frisky terror, and my constant shadow. But she laid in one spot on the bed all day, curled up tight, wouldn't drink or eat, and shivered even though the house was warm. With 15" of snow on the ground, we couldn't get to the vet that day but I called and they happily agreed to see her the day before Thanksgiving. Dr. Clements was kind and friendly to me, and loved Celeste right off the bat. He checked her over carefully, agreed she was underweight, and we talked through together all the things that could be causing her problems.
