We absolutely love MacKinnon Royal Dance. Our daughter has attended for years, and Meredith, the owner, has been incredible—encouraging her to explore different styles and classes so she could discover what she enjoys most. The teachers are phenomenal (especially Kami in Contemporary /Hip Hop) and while the technical standards are high, they create a supportive, low-pressure environment where kids can truly have fun while learning to dance. The bi-annual recitals at the Rialto Theatre downtown are the cherry on top! Highly recommend!

Amazing dance studio. All the instructors are extremely talented and helpful to people of all ages and skill. Meredith does a great job with the littles and we travel from Ault to have our kiddo attend her classes they are worth it!

My children have been dancing with MacKinnon since 2011 & has been one of the best parts of our family story. This studio & the staff is incredible at promoting the joy & art of dance - meeting each student where they are at. The abilities & personalities of the students span the entire spectrum and they are all celebrated and given the space to shine. I can't express what a great space this is for people who want to dance, both experienced & non-experienced, talented & not-so-talented (I even participated in adult classes as one of the not-so-talented & loved it).
