I was asked to give feedback to Loveland Ford on my last service experience…Ummm. Let’s see to fix my 2020 Ford Fusion.. $10k. 89k miles on it (my baby). I take good care of my vehicles…. I was told it needed a new transmission harnass and a new transmission before they had even dived into it.. apparently rodents had chewed through the transmission harnass. They wanted $2600 just to replace the harnass and that was discounted if I had them replace my transmission. The car is worth $6k. Why on earth would I fix it if it’s only worth $6k? Amazing experience, I'm a customer for life!
I only recently became aware Aamco did anything OTHER than transmission work, so decided to ask them for a second opinion on my SUV. I had been told at my previous shop that it needed an engine replacement and was quoted $11,000 - $15,000.... At which point it would sadly have made more sense to scrap and replace it. Wanting confirmation and hoping for another option, I contacted Aamco, who made it incredibly easy by having it towed to their shop the same day.
