The facility, from signing in to meeting the physician, Dr. Rosenblatt, was exceptional. UCH is incomparable when it comes to medical institutions. I have to see neurologists at the Anchutz location in Aurora, and other physicians in the Longmont and Firestone areas, and am very pleased with all. Will follow Dr. Rosenblatt's direction and feel confident he will be able to help me with my needs. Previously, I've had to use the ER at Longspeak, and various radiology testing areas, finding all sites very, very good with my care and the kindness they show. While seeking treatment for various needs as we age is not pleasant, I feel I could not be in better hands overall.
So I can't seem to find the Longmont clinic which is actually next door to this specific gastrologist clinic and by the way the gastrologist they are amazing anyways to the regular family clinic next door to the east I go in there today to update my medical power of attorney and nobody seemed to know exactly how to fill those out cuz I was having issues with the app so that's why I came in anyways I got the paper from them I filled it out went back had them look at it and they're like yeah that looks fine they're like now you could get it notarized if you like but not everybody does that and I was thinking well you'd be kind of silly not to notarize it because you know I mean who doesn't do that so anyways so I go up to my bank talk to the notary and they tell me at least the first notary mind you told me you already signed it so I cannot notarize it and I was like well it would have been nice if they told me that okay so I go back to the clinic go get a new untouched paper to fill out at the bank to get it notarized I started filling it out while the notary was on his way and he said I cannot notarize this paperwork without your requesting agents being present and I said well I asked that you see help people that did they need to be present and they said no and he said yeah they have to be present I cannot notarize something without all parties there so I was pissed cuz I just got back I'm running again the misinformation that you see help people told me anyways so he said also he pointed out where the notary is supposed to fill out on his part he pointed to something interesting on that on their paperwork that it says notary to be filled out here optional and he said why would they word it like that why would they say optional if you need a notary that's where I would have to fill that out it's not optional it's just that is normally where the notary would fill out his part is on that little format part where it shows it never says optional on that so I thought that was interesting also one more thing he did tell me and maybe I don't know if this is correct but assuming that the UC health ladies today did not know anything about filling out this paperwork and I think they should have or there should have been to somebody that I could specifically talk to that new what to do how to fill it out and all the legalities of it he said that if I had a prior medical power of attorney filled out through UC health which I do and I did not get it notarized he said because it hasn't been notarized it's not legal so anybody hello anybody out there if that's not true speak up but if it is true then I believe that you see health needs to look into this matter immediately!
I have had GI issues most of my life, and have had innumerable tests from many physicians. Dr. Iqbal was the first doctor in all of that time to be able to find the source of my problem. Thank you so much, Dr. Iqbal!
