Travis is a gifted massage therapist. He is intelligent and educated about how the body works - and doesn't work - and uses that information to heal. He regularly checks in to make sure he's using the right level of pressure and then retreats back into doing great work. I especially appreciate his thoughtful and knowledgeable responses to my questions about why I've had pain - and then proceeds to help me feel better through his treatment. But don't go to Travis only if you are in pain! Go to him for a great massage!
WOW! Travis has a unique gift in finding the areas that need extra attention, and this is the first time I've never had to ask for more or less pressure during a massage. I really enjoy the benefits of deep-tissue work, and Travis spends each minute of the massage giving energy and the right amount of pressure to muscles and tissues that need relief. I will be back! Thank you Travis!
I've been a little reluctant to write a review because I'm not sure what I like is typical. Travis will find the places in your body that need attention, where you are holding tension, etc, and dig into them. It's not always pleasant in the moment, but I always know he is doing the work that needs to be done, and after, I might be a little sore, but also, floating on cloud 9 for the next few hours. If that sounds good, you should book an appointment. I know he also can do more gentle, whatever you need, that's just not what I'm looking for.
