I am a retired professional mixed martial artist and current adventure sports enthusiast. My body has been battered and beaten over the years. I injured my knee recently, and the therapists have been doing a great job. The dry needling and scrapping reduce my pain and give me more mobility just in time for the snowboarding season. ?
I went here while pregnant, worried about natural birth, wanting to learn about the pelvic floor. Understandably they wouldn’t do an internal exam because I was already pregnant, but instead of telling me about all the muscles that connect to the pelvic floor, how to relax them and how I can start relaxing my pelvic floor with diaphragmatic breathing, I was told to do kegals… an excercise that would ultimately make birthing harder and cause a lot of tearing in my pelvic floor because it was too tight to let a baby out. I have since been to the back 2 action in Lafayette and the pelvic floor therapist there is MUCH more knowledgeable, more organized, less chaotic and... read full review
