Dr Karbassi has exceptional knowledge and expertise. He treats each patient as unique. He is thorough and caught a rare condition. He is good with all ages from young to very old. My son is always very apprehensive about his appointments, and Dr. Karbassi takes the time and gives him the compassion he needs. He is very caring. It is easy to make an appointment or call with questions - no phone tree. I’ve been seeing Dr Karbassi for 23 years and highly recommend him and his office.

I’ve been Dr Carbassi’s patient for three years. He was able to improve vision in my right eye after damage from a previous surgery elsewhere. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind and efficient—as is his staff. I highly respect and recommend Dr. Carbassi.

Dr. Mohammad Karbassi pursued his internship and residency in General Surgery at Harvard Surgical Services in Boston, MA. He later completed residency in Ophthalmology at Boston University, and had two fellowships: one in Clinical Research and one in Cornea and Refractive Surgery in Rochester, NY. Dr. Karbassi sees patients for eye examinations, management of eye diseases, and cataract and corneal surgery. He subspecializes in the diagnosis and management of ocular surface disease, corneal disorders, corneal transplant and laser vision correction. Dr. Karbassi is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
