Just dropping in to write about my experience with Dr. Yakel and his lovely team. I had been reluctant to have surgery on my right big toe for severe arthritis (Hallux Rigidus). But after a beach trip and how sore my foot/toe was from just merely walking on the beach I decided to do my research. I had 2 different docs opinions and decided to go with Peak to Peak Podiatry and Dr. Yakel. He had all the experience with doing the BioPro Implant surgery and I honestly couldn't be happier. I'm only 4 weeks out but am in regular shoes and still progressing. If you listen to post-op instructions, things go well. Dr. Yakel cares for sure and knows his stuff.
