We absolutely love Sensei Nico!!! I have 2 young boys (4,7) who have been going for a couple years. My eldest has really enjoyed the structure and how he advances when he shows more discipline. My youngest loves how sometimes you get to be goofy and it's the only place you get to kick and punch ? Sensei meets them where they are at and understands that kids are kids, but he also gives them high expectations and they meet it!!!! Highly recommend!!!!
We are so happy we found this studio and met Nico. He has helped our son find confidence and a passion for learning karate through humor and discipline. We would suggest any of the Z Ultimate Self Defense studios but think Ken Caryl is the best! Thank you so much Nico!
I have been training with z Ultimate Studios for years with a pretty long break in between. Sensei Nico Van Poolen is always top notch and kind when it comes to instruction and helping me progress in the martial arts. I am happy to continue my Kempo journey with Z Ultimate to black belt and beyond. The health and mental clarity benefits of the martial arts will always be a huge part of my life. Thank you to all the instructors and this wonderful community that I am part of!
