I want to give a special shout out to the instructors Andy Duncan, Nick Boyd, Hailey Nyarko, and Dr. Jane Leavell. By the end of my schooling I feel like I had gained valuable knowledge, not only about massage techniques and anatomy but also about critical thinking and client care. Even the little quirks of attending school in a historic building became part of the experience and gave the campus its own unique character. It made the Academy feel welcoming and memorable. When it came time to take my MBLEX, I felt confident walking into the exam because of the quality of education I received. The material was taught in a way that truly prepared me, and I found myself confidently answering questions because I understood the concepts, and not just because I had memorized information.
