Each brought their own experiences, specialties, and perspectives into the classroom. I truly learned so much from each one of them. Learning from instructors with such different backgrounds gave me a well-rounded education and showed me just how many directions a career in massage therapy can take. The Academy created an environment where I felt supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow. By the end of my schooling I feel like I had gained valuable knowledge, not only about massage techniques and anatomy but also about critical thinking and client care. Even the little quirks of attending school in a historic building became part of the experience and gave the campus its own unique character. It made the Academy feel welcoming and memorable. When it came time to take my MBLEX, I felt confident walking into the exam because of the quality of education I received. The material was taught in a way that truly prepared me, and I found myself confidently answering questions because I understood the concepts, and not just because I had memorized information. I’m incredibly grateful for everything I learned during my time at the Academy of Natural Therapy.
