About Martin’s General Store

Martin's General Store offers a mixed shopping experience. The store appears more organized and cleaner than it was a couple of years ago, and customers can find bargains in the vintage and antique sections. However, the quality of used appliances is a concern, as they come with little warranty and the store does not seem to stand behind them. Some items have been on the shelves for years without being sold, which can make the store feel stagnant. One of the store's strengths is its diverse inventory, with a wide range of old and new items, including an impressive selection of antique tools. The staff is friendly, and they are willing to help customers find specific items. Customers should be aware that the staff, particularly Emily, may be persuasive in encouraging purchases, even for items the customer did not initially plan to buy. Overall, Martin's General Store provides a unique shopping experience, with a mix of positive and negative aspects. Customers who are interested in vintage and antique items, as well as those who enjoy a treasure hunt-like shopping experience, may find the store to be a worthwhile destination.

Also, I can also find some kind of bargain in their vintage and antiques especially in the section that I collect and resell in. I agree with the comments about the appliances. These used items come with very little warranty, apparently. They don't seem to stand behind them. The other issue I have is that I see the same items from two years ago, and I have a feeling they have been there years longer. They are the same prices they...read full review

Emily knows the stock and sold me a matching item to something I bought over a year ago and would have bought then had I known they had two! Then she sold me a fridge and stove when I was not even planning those purchases yet. Beware of Emily... she will sell you stuff you did not even know you need. LOL
