When I move somewhere new, one of the first things I need to feel like I'm "home" is a great barber who I see regularly. I'm so happy that I found Elly on Yelp, and now I get a fresh cut from her every few weeks. I have no doubt that she's not only one of the best barbers in the south Denver 'burbs, but one of the best in the whole Denver metro area. After moving to Denver from LA (I know, one of those people), where I had gone to some of the most hipster, priciest, tattoo-filled, Instagram-worthy barber shops in the city, I was used to getting great haircuts that came with a great side of laughs. With Elly, I'm happy to say that I still get both. I am that person who asks for something slightly different literally every time that I get my hair cut, even if it's a tiny change, and Elly is happy to accommodate and translate what I'm looking for every time. I fully trust her to take me from style to style, which is a regular thing for me. I look forward to getting a great haircut every time, and it's really fun to have a barber who remembers all of the conversations that you've had about literally anything. Even though it isn't part of the price of the haircut, I learn a lot from Elly from our conversations. It's one of the best parts of my week whenever I come in. Also, you can book your appointments online on Elly's website, which makes your life so much easier. Somehow, in an industry that nearly makes it impossible to do so, Elly somehow always runs on-time. There are a buttload of places closer to my house and work where I could get my hair cut, but now that I found Elly, I don't go anywhere else. These guys did such a great job on my hair my ex finally took me baaack. I spent months trying to figure out what I could do to win her baaack and this place did it... only issue is after a few day I decided to dump her because her hair needed trimming to. Maybe if she stopped by this stellar barber I miiight just take her back. Most likely not though.
