“Sharing my perspective from a 48 year old patient. Let me start by sharing what my procedure was. I had a breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction, mons lift and muscle repair. I also had some fatty tissue removed under my arm pit. I want to share what my journey was like from beginning to end. I had been considering plastic surgery for quite a while. Before surgery I did a lot of research and came to find Modern Surgical Arts of Denver by chance on a flight to Mexico. There was a magazine article with a previous doctor who used to work there. After reading the article I was intrigued and curious what they could do for me. Visiting the office for the first time I was extremely nervous and not sure what to expect. I remember my mind was racing in a million different directions. Once I went back to the exam room the first person I met was Julia. She started asking me questions and as she did this she made me feel more comfortable. She went through the entire questioning process from why I wanted to do this to medical questions. By the end of her walking me through the questions I felt relaxed and to back this up my blood pressure was very high when taken the first time during the examination. The second person to examine me and find out why I was there was Dr Dastoury. When he came in the room I was feeling more relaxed and on why I was there. He also questioned me about why I was there and what procedures I was looking for. I was very impressed with his demeanor in the following ways. Very calming presence, professional, funny, inquisitive and a positive attitude. I was also impressed by the options and choices he presented to me. He did not present the procedures like a car salesman or try to push anything on me. If anything he gave me several options and reminded me that I didn’t need this but after 3 kids I deserved to feel the way I wanted to feel. After the visit I felt that the staff and doctor treated me like someone they would truly care for if I chose to move forward. I ultimately went ahead with the procedures and love, love, love my results. I want to tell everyone what sets Modern surgical Arts of Denver apart from Other practices. Some reasons are throughout my journey with them I have always felt cared for, valued and most of all my mental health was always placed in front of everything else. Meaning no matter how I was feeling they always put that first to make sure my needs were met. They backed this up by the staff and doctor continuing to call me to see how things were going. Dr Dastoury even called me while on vacation. This level of care can’t be duplicated. To wrap up this review I just want to share how the day of surgery went. I was fully prepared prior to surgery day due to the staff and Dr going over every parts of the procedure from beginning to end. I was nervous but almost in a calming way because everything they explained to me is exactly how it went. Before surgery they help you fully prep your body by providing vitamin's, proper diet, and nutrition so your recovery will be easier. This also could not be done without having a great support system in place such as family and or someone to help take care of you during your full recovery period. Someone recently asked me if I could do it all over again would you? Every time I say absolutely I would and only with the team at Modern Surgical Arts of Denver. I met with Alanna Thomas-PA and it was an amazing experience. From her positive nature, knowledge and education, it was an easy and positive experience.
