Dr. Bullard always takes the time to explain everything, and then discuss my concerns. As a former vet tech, I have sky high expectations, and they are always exceeded.

Services are excellent but highly overpriced. Make sure to ask for an estimate prior to services rendered.

Gypsum Animal Hospital is my vet away from my home in Florida. It has a welcoming small-town feel with exemplary care. The staff is helpful, personable, and very accommodating. Their prices are very reasonable. I trust them wholeheartedly with my two Australian Shepherds.

We came in with our 20 year old cat around October 2024. She was losing weight rapidly (3 pounds in a month and she only ever weighed about 7-8 pounds her entire life) and was eating like a pelican. We explained this and said there was something wrong with her mouth because she's never eaten like that. The vet looked at her gums and said she's fine, etc. then was more focused on vaccines (which are not required, I checked Colorado laws) than the obvious issue. Our cat was clearly very sick and didn't go outside so we didn't want to compromise the issue further with a vaccine. We brought her to a vet in Glenwood who did about the same then two weeks later to an Eagle vet who said she needed to see a specialist immediately because something was wrong with her throat, tongue, and weight loss. I drove her the next day after we brought her to the Eagle vet. The specialist put her under, checked her tongue and confirmed she most likely had cancer and that we could've possibly saved her life with surgery but it's hard to say. Either way, we had to put her down in the end and this vet said she was fine and gave her an antibiotic for abscesses which we knew wasn't the issue. We definitely don't recommend this vet at all for obvious reasons.

Dr. Bullard was wonderful with my 2 dogs. This was our first time meeting her. Her care and attention to my pet's needs was outstanding.
