I had my front drive shaft break on me about a month ago and I had these guys fix it along with some other things. Unfortunately the driveshaft broke again a month later. I called these guys up again and they got me in real quick, fixed it for free under warranty. I cannot stress enough how friendly and knowledgeable these guys are. I’m very happy I found a local place I can trust, I would recommend it to anybody having car troubles.
We were leaving Gunnison CO on 8/16/24 en route to Arizona and our Chevrolet Silverado overheated while pulling our travel trailer out of town.
We limped back to town and pulled into Mechanic On Duty. They were very busy that Friday, yet Darryl the owner took time out to run across town and pick up a new coolant reservior and install it for us. We made it back to Arizona with no issues. I believe he resolved a problem we've had for a long time and didn't know about it.
I would highly recommend Darryl and his crew for any automotive work to be done.

Came to Gunnison for a wedding and started burning off coolant. Other places in town wouldn't take a look at it for several days. The mechanic at Mechanic on Duty was nice enough to come take a quick look and correctly diagnose a defective radiator cap. I was back on the road in 15 mins thanks to Mechanic on Duty!
