A Stepping Stone is easily the best mental health practice I have ever worked with. They are always willing to go the extra mile for their patients, making appointments available in a variety of formats, keeping the process of getting prescription refills less stressful, and even handling unusual requests like when my son needed documentation for a drug test associated with a job application. Rafael, Dr. Hernandez, and the entire team have my heartfelt appreciation because they make caring for my family's well-being their focus in every possible way.
I have been working w Carol and Dr Hernandez for a couple years now. Both are incredible and supportive. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. I’ve seen other providers when they were out and for the most part they’ve been good! (Except a Dr i had a few years ago before Dr Hernandez came.) this place is great and they will do anything for their patients. Sometimes the online scheduling and other tools don’t work but it’s still better then going to a big place where you’re just a number and they don’t care or you have to press 100 buttons to talk to someone.
This is a practice that truly cares. I have been seeing Dr. Hernandez for around 2 years now, and he has been truly amazing in my mental healthcare needs. He keeps me involved in all steps of my healthcare decisions and has been easy to schedule with, even in short notice. The office staff (especially Jen) have been incredible to work with in my FMLA process and health insurance appeals for med coverage. I can't recommend A Stepping Stone enough.
