I cannot express how grateful I am to Megan and her family for their incredible kindness and generosity during such a difficult time. I have been taken aback by the progress this big guy has made over the past 4 months! He is learning to become a gentleman, and how to be less impulsive. Today was simply amazing! Ponch was in a “down stay” for 25 minutes while I went from room to room doing laundry. Not only was he able to commit for so long, but he also did this laying with Chloe so close to him! Chloe clearly thinks of him as the annoying brother she never wanted, but is accepting him more with his new outlook on behaviors! Ponch just graduated from the Beginner 2 class through High Plains K-9 Connections LLC. Megan’s programs have been a game changer! She’s a great person to work with, is responsive and helpful with any questions or issues that arise outside of class. Ponch is now moving onto the Good Canine Citizen Class, and is one step closer to becoming the best therapy dog in the hospital!
