About WESTERN SLOPE LINCOLN
Western Slope Lincoln provides automotive service with experiences ranging from highly positive to frustrating. Many customers report professional, kind, and timely service, with a pleasant waiting area. Some have had excellent long-term experiences, noting the staff's coordination with warranty administrators and responsiveness in keeping owners updated during complex, multi-issue repairs. However, other reviews indicate significant dissatisfaction with the service process. Criticisms include a business model that often requires multiple lengthy appointments spread weeks apart for a single repair, which some find ponderous. There are reports of incomplete diagnostics, such as not clearing sensor codes after a replacement, leading to return visits and customer frustration. Some feel the service quality has declined, resulting in paying more for what is perceived as poor service. The experience can vary, with some customers vowing not to return while others remain very pleased.
What a week it's been! Many thanks to Chris, Amy, Ian, and Josh at the WSA Ford Service Counter, and the unsung heroes in the back. It started as a code service issue regarding a PCV valve, which turned into an oil pan leak, to a cracked head and head gasket issue. Yeah, we're talking five digits here. Chris coordinated the payment on the repair with the third-party warranty administrator and all I paid for was the original Crank Case Pressure Sensor. Everyone else was responsive to my concerns, keeping me up-to-date. Thanks again folks!
Took my truck in twice the original appointment was for full service and replace gas cap clear sensor as it had a vapor leak sensor (check engine light on). Went back for second an appointment to have the gas cap put on and check engine light cleared. Went in to pick up truck and was told I had a vapor leak somewhere they did not locate. I asked maybe it was the gas cap you replaced did you clear the sensor after installing new gas cap. Nope did not check that you will need to make an appointment. No no I won't because I won't be back. I used to love ford service but my how things have changed. Didn't mind van paying a little more for good service now you pay more for poor service. What a shame.
During my last visit to Western Slope Auto the service was well-below my normal service I usually get. I had requested two different services that I was promised I would be able to get it, and I was told that one of the services could not be provided. My husband followed up and went down during his workday on his his lunch break to verify the service was available and the service department stated that the service was available. It ended up being a very long day at the shop, and upon leaving my car, had a check engine light because the mechanic was working on. It failed to connect some cables after working on my car. I left the dealership, feeling very frustrated and let down. I have always had great service here, and very disappointed that the mechanic and my service manager we're not on top of things this time around. I was told I would receive a survey regarding my service, but I never received one as promised. I am hopeful, the business can regain my trust and better service will be provided in the future.
