I was 8 minutes late for my first injections and was made to reschedule the same day at 2pm. I arrived at 1:45 and sat until 3pm when I was called into the back. I expressed that i was sorry for being late but could they please see me because I had another appointment that day and was in terrible pain. I was told that if I wanted to be seen, I had to come back. So I did, and waited. When I was brought in the back room I wasn't in the mood for conversation and expressed this, but I guess bc I didn't want to talk to anyone, I was being rude. Today I arrive at 10:39 for a 10:45 appointment. I asked about the procedure and meds and was told "I told you last time you needed to come 30 minutes before your appointment time if you want sedation." (No, you didn't. You told me that if I'm late you guys reserve the right to reschedule me, but cool story) And then she went in the back and told her co workers I was being rude. When the nurse came and got me to bring me back, she gave me a cup to pee in for a pregnancy test. Last week I used a bathroom in the back and now they wanted me to use a restroom in the lobby. I was confused since I used a bathroom in the back last week when I peed. Still, I took the cup and went to the public restrooms in the main hall. When I came back I didn't know where to put the pee cup or where I needed to physically go as there are multiple patient rooms/areas so I stood waiting for direction and then the manager of the place raised her voice at me and said that I was being rude. I asked her multiple times what I did to deserve this treatment. She said I came in their with an attitude. My attitude. Maybe some people are autistic and don't always pick up on social cues. God forbid someone is quiet or looking to them, the employees, for direction and that gets misconstrued. Cool. You guys need training in working with those who have autisim and/or are nerodivergent. You guys discriminated against me. They said they weren't dealing with me and refused me my injections. Told me I am "so self unaware". I asked to speak with a manager and the woman who initially raised her voice at me said she was the manager. I asked what I did to her and she said my attitude after not responding to me and just looking at me. Awesome work. Not. I ended up apologizing to them for "my attitude" (bc i do understand how any misunderstanding takes 2+ parties, but they absolutely did not take any responsibility for their part.) All I did was look at the workers and stand there holding my piss cup because i didn't get brought back into a room, so i didn't know what room to go to. So me asking for direction and also saying I didn't feel like casual conversation right now during my appointment the previous week calls for this treatment. They offered no help and took no responsibility in how the interaction got so nasty. Like I'm also in a crap ton of pain. Y'all have no empathy and get off on playing God with patients. Cool cool cool. Dr. Crutch offered no assistance. He allowed his team to treat me horribly and discriminate against me. And from the looks of these other reviews, it's been happening long before I walked in those doors. Yall should be ashamed. Claiming you have compassion and empathy when that's the last thing that you guys showed me.

As pain care patients, I am sure you all understand the challenges that come with finding affordable, quality doctors and care. We recently relocated to CO from MN, and prior to moving, finding quality care and doctors was a long, frustrating process to say the least. I eventually did find the most amazing doctor and clinic in MN (shoutout to Alissa Goodew and iSpine). Learning that we were moving, and that a new search would need to ensue, was a painful thought. Upon arriving in CO, I started researching different clinics in the area and decided to start my journey at Mountain View. I knew immediately that they were not going to be a good fit. At my first visit, I learned my doctor was from WI. Being from MN, I found common ground in that and attempted to make a small personal connection. He had zero interest in that, and I could tell that Mountain View was more interested in making money than they are in their patients. I also learned at that visit that they will not take on patients unless they agree to PT and/or injections. They also would not fill my first script until they received the results of my urine analysis (in a few weeks). Thankfully, iSpine filled my prescriptions to ensure I wouldn't have to go without my medication for a month. Despite the challenges at the first visit, I decided I'd give them another shot and went a couple of more times. They gave me a urine test at every single appointment I went to. That is all fine and good bc the years of medical records they have will show that I have never once had an issue. However, you'd be surprised at how quickly the costs add up, especially for someone on a high deductible health care plan. Monthly visits on their own are quite expensive, add in monthly tests and all of the procedure costs, it becomes astronomical. I disliked Mountain View so much that I quit going altogether and spent a couple of months researching alternative options. I decided to give CO Pain Care a shot, despite some negative reviews, as it is very close to my house, and I liked the variety of care they offered. I am so glad that I landed on CO Pain Care and Amy Quinn. As soon as I met Dr. Quinn, I could feel that she genuinely cared and knew that she was going to be a quality doctor. Personal connections are so important, and Dr. Quinn set the tone of the appointment off right by taking time to get to know me and by not making me feel like I was just another number. I appreciate that CO Pain Care offers a variety of different treatment options, without making you feel pressured to go one way or another. They have never once advised me that they will not treat me if I decline a certain treatment option. I get the impression that they are working with the goal of providing quality care vs. making a dollar. For these reasons, I plan to make CO Pain Care my permanent home. Sadly, Dr. Quinn has moved locations so my next visit will be with someone new. However, based on all of my interactions with the Castle Rock team, I am optimistic that my new provider will be just as amazing. From front-desk, to medical assistant, to doctor, CO Pain care has an amazing team. The Customer Experience is the only thing that sets one organization apart from others in similar fields. CO Pain Care puts their patients first and is doing it right, all around, 5 stars!
