Boardmoor Pet Resort Pet Boarding Training

“Beware of boarding your pet at Broadmoor Pet Resort — our experience was traumatic and unacceptable. We left our healthy, happy 7-month-old puppy in their care, and picked her up days later terrified, severely underweight, and covered in painful open wounds, bloody scabs, and signs of infection. A vet diagnosed her with a bacterial skin infection, clearly the result of neglect during her stay. They did not contact us to inform us of her condition or provide any veterinary care. As a responsible boarding facility, they had a duty of care — and they breached that duty by failing to notify us or ensure our puppy received medical attention. We only found out something was wrong thanks to a friend connected to the facility who was not on duty at the time of her stay. Upon returning back to work she found her in this state of condition. Deeply concerned, we contacted animal control for a welfare check, as we were out of state — and the facility turned them away, refusing to let them see our dog. That moment was absolutely devastating. We knew she was in trouble and had no way to help her. We had to cut our trip short and rush her to the vet. Her wounds were already bloody, scabbing over, and clearly days old, meaning she had been injured and left without care for an extended period. When we demanded answers, the owners showed no accountability. They blamed us, claimed it was a pre-existing condition (it wasn’t), and hung up on us when we asked too many questions. This wasn’t just a bad experience — it was traumatic, for our puppy and for us. The complete lack of communication, compassion, and responsibility was appalling. No one should have to go through what we did.“

Humble Paws Pet Boarding Training

“Our Border Collie mix Jazzie was brought up in isolation by previous owners and never socialized. He had serious reactivity issues and could be aggressive with people. We had bad luck with multiple other trainers before finding Humble Paws. They helped him become a much more relaxed, well adjusted dog. Most importantly he was happy, and well cared for when he was there. Owner Manuel, trainer Kelsea and the rest of the staff are amazing people, very clearly love and care for all the dogs they work with.
Thank you!!!“

Off-Leash K9 Training - Colorado Springs Pet Boarding Training

“We enrolled our Bernese Mountain Dog, Luna, in Off-Leash Training after learning about Moriah at the Bernese Mountain Dog Festival in Breckenridge. Luna was a breeder release from a puppy mill that we were able to rescue. She came to us very fearful of all things. We spent time with Luna in training classes and some private training but she still struggled with discipline and struggled greatly with confidence.

From the start, Moriah impressed us with her thorough and thoughtful approach—not only did she train Luna effectively, but she also taught us how to interact with her in a way that reinforced the training at home.

Three months later, and we can easily say the transformation in Luna has been amazing. She's a whole new dog! She’s more confident, responsive, and well-behaved. When we get our next dog, we’ll absolutely be returning to Moriah and Off-Leash Training. Highly recommend—outstanding experience all around!“
